Terrific Toddlers
28 June 2019
Discover the importance of toddler groups, and how we can run them more effectively to grow young generations in faith. All church leaders, toddler group leaders and volunteers are welcome, including those who are thinking of just starting out on a toddler group journey.
The day will be an opportunity to develop confidence in how your toddler group can be effective in helping parents, carers and toddlers to grow in their faith.
We will be welcoming Mary Hawes, National Children and Youth Adviser for the Church of England, as well as Mark Chester, from Who let the Dads out? and Sarah Cornthwaite, who creates resources to help under-5s to develop their spirituality.
We will hear about the spirituality of toddlers, what the research into toddler groups tells us, and how we can engage fathers more effectively. As June is the National Month of Prayer for toddler groups, we are delighted to have 1277: Make them count: National network of church-based toddler groups to help us celebrate and pray over this whole area of ministry. The aim is that this day will get you thinking about the next steps you could take with your church in developing or creating a missional toddler group. This day is suitable for whole toddler group teams to attend, as well as leaders. Refreshments will be provided. Please bring your own lunch.
